Meet Amber Jones
Hi, I'm Amber Jones, the founder of MatheCord. As a mother of five, I've dedicated decades to tutoring math and helping others navigate the challenges of the subject. My passion for mathematics began early on, where I often found myself immersed in problem-solving rather than outdoor play. In school, I was the student who eagerly requested homework to deepen my understanding, which continued into college as I offered my support as a free tutor to classmates in need. Now, as an adult, I focus on nurturing my children's appreciation for math.
This love for mathematics and the desire to help others find joy in it inspired me to create MatheCord. I envisioned a platform that connects dedicated math tutors like myself with students needing educational support. I truly believe that math is integral to our daily lives, and through MatheCord, I aim to build a community where we can effectively discuss math concepts and share insights, making learning a rewarding experience for all.

Good day! Personally my own thoughts is we need more engagements on the channel to enable growth. Maybe a community moderator or a social media manager, but so far so good — I love the channel and I believe that good things take time and patience, so we are doing well so far. We also need more engagements on the group for it to grow!
